FAQ

Well hello there! This is my FAQ section where I intend to answer some frequently asked questions. To be honest not many people have actually asked me questions, so I decided to have a pre-emptive strike on the matter! (I may also be bored on a Saturday) This will be a place where I interview myself and you can get to know me (Pretty Meta, right?!). If you want to know the basic ideas of me you can check out the about me section, this is just a place to explain a little more about my interests and things that inspire me. Enjoy!

Why warm tea?

You may be wondering this as opposed to the more common, “hot tea.” Well, for me, warm to is much more enjoyable because hot tea often burns my mouth because I want to simply enjoy the drink and not end up with a burnt tongue.

Why comic books?

I love them. I have always enjoyed them even since I was a kid, they helped me learn that I can do something greater in life. They continue to teach me and I will always enjoy them.

What exactly is a b-movie?

A b-movie is short for “bad movie.” A term used to describe cheesy low-budget films. Things like Godzilla, Manos: the Hands of Fate, and The Room. Since high school, I’ve loved watching films like this and poking fun all the while, and after I discovered Mystery Science Theater 3000, I loved them even more. This show watches a b-movie each week (the show aired late 80’s early 90’s) and made jokes. This is probably where most of my sense of humor comes from.

Do you enjoy real movies?

First off your question is saying that b-movies aren’t real movies (no need for an attitude me (Woah, calm down me)). That got a little too Meta.

I agree. So, what are you favorite films?

That’s a better question. My favorite films, in no particular order, The Royal Tannenbaums, Scott Pilgrim Verses the World, Seven Sammurai, Planet of the Apes, and Star Wars. These movies are tied to me in ways that I can’t explain, but I love them dearly.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I don’t want to grow up, I mean sure I don’t want to be a child, but I never want to lose the wonder that children have.

Okay this might be more direct, what do you want to do?

I want to write, I want to be involved in next generation ministry, and I want to help people. I’ll work towards that the best that I can!

What inspires you?

Christ. His word never ceases to amaze me and encourage me. I want to serve him as best as I can because over and over he has changed my life.

Who are your inspirations?

My family and people that can be themselves.

Are there any writers you look up to?

I love the works of several authors that I use as inspiration. Donald Miller, Jon Acuff, and Reggie Joiner are all authors and creatives that are confident in their identity and seek to help others. I want to be like them.

Okay, let’s do some rapid fire questions.

I guess that depends on how fast the reader reads this though…

Whatever. What’s your favorite color?

Green! But I also fancy Orange, not a neon orange, a fall weather orange.

Favorite season?

Nine, of Doctor Who.

I mean weather, ya goob.

I like winter, Christmas time and jackets!

Place you’d love to travel one day?

Scotland!

Favorite music genre?

All of them except country, lyrics are too sad.

DC or Marvel?

Both! Good stories are good stories. You should also check out indie publishers too!

Have you enjoyed this?

Very much so, I just hope the reader doesn’t think this is too conceited.

I think it’ll be alright, if nothing else, they’ll smile a bit and know a little bit more about my personality.

I quite agree with you, sir!

Keep being good, me!

Never change who you are, me!
